Dawn Stark
Dawn is a healthcare audit partner in Plante Moran’s Columbus office. Dawn has more than 20 years of experience focused on providing services to healthcare organizations, including hospitals and health systems, senior living, and other healthcare related entities. She serves as Plante Moran’s Healthcare Technical Leader. As part of her role at Plante Moran, she assists in the development of firm guidance, conducts engagement quality review for the firm’s healthcare clients, and consults on complex accounting and reporting issues for healthcare organizations. She serves as a member of the AICPA National Health Care Conference Planning Committee, AICPA Health Care Expert Panel, Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Health Care Financial Manager's Association (HFMA) Principle and Practices Board.
Chris Dutch
Chris is an audit partner and leads the not-for-profit technical accounting team in PwC’s National Office, focusing on healthcare, higher education, and governmental entities. Chris has significant experience helping clients evaluate complex transactions, writing thought leadership, and leading a variety of different audit engagements, including extensive experience with Uniform Guidance requirements. She is a member of the AICPA Not-for-Profit Entities Expert Panel, Health Care Expert Panel, and Governmental Audit Quality Center Executive Committee.
Farlen Halikman
CPA, CHFE
Farlen is a healthcare-industry CPA and a Certified Healthcare Fraud Examiner. He is a shareholder at MSL, where he leads a team of colleagues in best-of-class practice of public accounting. Farlen has served on the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) Health Care Expert Panel. He has over 35 years of experience in CPA practice. Farlen is a key member of MSL’s Health Care Practice Group and stays abreast of the complex and rapidly changing Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement regulations. In addition to being a CPA, he has additional certification in Health Care Fraud Examination, Risk Management and Compliance.
